In order to establish a method of estimating the fatigue strength of single-spot and multi-spot welded joints, fatigue tests of single-spot and multi-spot welded joints of 0.8 mm mild steel sheet were carried out and the results were compared with those obtained from stress analysis by means of FEM and a graphical method.
