ARTICLE IN FRENCH ONLY The paper examines several methods of improvement of the fatigue behavior of E360 welded box girders. Covered are the stress-relieving heat treatment, mechanical stress relief, prestressing shot blasting (with or without previous stress-relieving heat treatment), and weld peening.
