This invention relates to apparatus for surface treating metal articles. It relates particularly to apparatus for cleaning, hardening, roughening or otherwise treating the surface of metal sheets, billets and other metal articles by the abrasive effect of a stream of abrasive particles projected against such surfaces at relatively high velocities.
