Abstract:  
A process and composition for blast-cleaning metal surfaces, particularly steel surfaces, and simultaneously depositing a corrosion protective metal theron. Abrasive particles carrying a protective metal, especially zinc, at their outer surface are used as the blast abrasive. The protective metal is bound to the abrasive particles by means of a binder.
